In a strategic move to strengthen its campaign machinery, the Aniocha South chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) officially inaugurated its campaign councils, led by Chairman Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma (NAS ).The event marked a significant milestone in the party's preparation for the upcoming local Government elections.

The inauguration ceremony, which took place at the party's LGA Secretariat in Ogwashi Uku , was attended by prominent party members, stakeholders, and supporters. Chairman Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma (NAS) in his remarks, emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in achieving victory.

Mr Norbert Akachukwu, charged the campaign council members to work tirelessly, engage with the electorates, and showcase the party's achievements and manifestos. He also unveiled the campaign timetable, outlining the schedule of activities leading up to the elections.

The campaign councils comprise various committees, including publicity, finance, logistics, and grassroots mobilization. Each committee is tasked with specific responsibilities, ensuring a well-coordinated and effective campaign.

The party's candidate for the upcoming local government election, Engr. Bright Uchechukwu ISichei and his vice chairman, Comrade Enuonye Ekene, expressed gratitude to the party leadership and members for their support. He reiterated his commitment to delivering quality governance and sustainable development to the people of Aniocha South when elected.

The inauguration ceremony was a testament to the party's preparedness and determination to win the elections. Another highlight of the ceremony was the return of erstwhile member of the party, the Owele of Ejeme kingdom, Augustus El Bethel was reintegrated back into the  political party.
