Ahead of the next Local government council election in Aniocha South, the people are beginning to speak up and take position on how they consider politics and democracy should evolve in the local government.

Aniocha South is besieged by dual positions that is antithetical to each other. While some had supported the return of immediate past council chairman to the the number one seat of the Local Government Area, others have wielded resistance on the grounds of equity, balance and justice.

A committed party man, comrade David Onochie among many others has written an open letter making a strong case for Nsukwa clan to go all in for the next council chairmanship. "It is time to say enough of this marginalization" he said.



"It bits my imagination to see a divided clan with inconsistent/indecisive leaders.

First i will like to start by thanking the rugged and dogged youth's of Nsukwa clan whom against all odds stood their ground for equal share. But the problem of Nsukwa clan is not the fight for equity or the zigzag roll of the youth's who don't know their stand but the inconsistent or indecisive leaders who are selfish/self centered.


 is crystal clear that it's the turn of Nsukwa clan to produce the LGA chairman but out of selfishness and bribery their leaders could not stand their ground to say enough is enough for this unwanted marginalization perpetrated by same siblings and the leaders are playing party loyalty.


My question is, are you not part of the party is supreme syndrome that is affecting your clan?

It's time to say enough of this marginalization. Let me remind you that Hon. Sorokwu run for just one tenure, Hon. Chikezie also run for one tenure in the Hallowed chamber. Is this not enough to note that you are being shortchanged?

Elders/Leaders of Nsukwa clan wake up to this clarion call facing you before it's too late. You're clan and not clown.

Madam once said in one of her videos on Facebook last year 2023 that power is taken and not given, stop waiting to be given fight for what is yours.
