Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh,  felicitates with the state Governor, Rt Hon  Sheriff Oborevwori on Emerging New Telegraph Governor of the Year

His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has been recognized as the New Telegraph Newspaper's "Governor of the Year, 2024" for his outstanding efforts in infrastructural development. This prestigious award comes on the heels of a similar honor from the THISDAY/ARISE MEDIA Group for fiscal discipline and infrastructural development.

Hon. Smart Ufoh, Commissioner for Technical Education, congratulated Governor Oborevwori on this well-deserved honor, praising his administration's remarkable strides in improving infrastructure across the state. The commissioner expressed his confidence that more awards will follow, given the governor's commitment to excellence.

Represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, Governor Oborevwori acknowledged the significance of the award, attributing it to the collective efforts of the Delta State government and its people. Onyeme highlighted the governor's prudent management of resources, having achieved significant infrastructural development without incurring debt.

Chairman of the occasion, Chief Olabode George, emphasized the importance of recognizing individuals who have contributed to the unity, growth, and development of the country. He encouraged future generations to emulate these exemplary leaders.

Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh reaffirmed his support for Governor Oborevwori, assuring that the people of Nsukwa Clan and Aniocha South will continue to stand behind him.
