Hon Collins Iwebunor has showered glowing tribute to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his developmental strides in Delta state and Aniocha South. He made the remark during his interaction with the media after the meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ewulu, Nsukwa clan. "I need to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to our governor and leader, His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for the good job he is doing", he said.
Hon Collins Iwebunor, the Executive Director (ICT and Corporate Development) Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, in an exclusive interaction with NOL24 Television crew after Nsukwa clan meeting in Ewulu on Saturday, stressed the need to build the Peoples Democratic Party in the clan.
"A lot of things went into it for the sake of the party. The party have been nice to all of us, the party has been fair to all of us. All we can do in appreciation, is to harvest and and mobilize people for our great party, so that before the 2027 election we won't be scavenging for anything. That time we will be in unity. You can see me addressing our people, that this leadership meeting will continue.
The idea is that we have to put our house in order, glue everybody with a view to making everybody stronger for the future.
This huge turnout you are seeing today shows that our people are still PDP centric. Nsukwa Clan is proudly PDP, just like Aniocha South. What we want to do is that come 2027, we don't want any incursion outside PDP, and we are getting it right.
RESPONDING TO UNITY:
What you are seeing portrays increase in productivity, higher performance, effectiveness and efficiency towards towards the party activities.
It is said that united we stand, divided we fall. Now that we are together, working together, that will help us look towards a common goal and achieve it in a better and faster way. My advice to the clan as it begins to pull together, my advise to the good people of Nsukwa clan is now everybody should relax this issue of 2028 for now.
You can see me advising the leaders that we should jettison the idea of parading aspirants. It is too early, 2027 is too far. The only responsibility we have now is to build the party, harvest and mobilize people for the party and for a higher performance, come 2027, because, it is the performance of the clan that will take us to where we are going. If we don't do well as a party, it portends danger for our aspirations. But if we are able to work hard and achieve greater performance as a party, the clan will get all it takes to achieve it's desires.
We need to takes this opportunity to express our gratitude to our governor and leader, His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for the good job he is doing. This road down here, any man of average intelligence knows that, yes, this party has performed. PDP has worked with this kind of quality roads put here. We don't need to tell them that PDP is in Vogue, PDP is in charge.
You may recall that the meeting we held in Nsukwa, when someone was saying they have not empowered them, I told them to go quantity the length of that road, what you have earned, nobody in this LGA has. We need to appreciate our governor and the only way we can appreciate him and encourage him is by this grassroots mobilization we are doing. That's the only way, that is the Favour we owe him and we will do it.
